I refuse to participate in Christmas activities before Thanksgiving, but I love the start of the holiday season once Thanksgiving has arrived. My house is already decorated for Christmas, and I’m feeling the Christmas spirit now. Here are my favorite ways to get in the Christmas spirit:
While I focused on 21 Days of Contagious Gratitude before Thanksgiving this year, an attitude of gratitude helps me get in the Christmas spirit, too. It also helps if I focus on the true meaning of Christmas. The other thing that helps me is to focus on the fun (especially family fun), rather than all the extra things that need to be done before Christmas. (I’ve worked on keeping all the extra things that need to be done to a minimum.)
